Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS)

GRSS is one of the 39 technical societies of IEEE – the world’s largest organization of engineers and technologists.

It is a community of researchers and practitioners who design tools and work together to understand how humans interact with Earth’s ecosystems – including forest ecosystems. GRSS focuses on monitoring the environment, the oceans and the ice sheets, as well as on assessing potential threats to the planet. The Society supports a global collaboration network that, since 2024, has also been growing in Poland. Join us and shape the future with us!
